Dear fans of Greco-Roman wrestling!

The capital will host an international Greco-Roman wrestling tournament among wrestlers under 20 years old, dedicated to the memory of Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov, the first Kazakh Olympic champion and world champion in Greco-Roman wrestling, a Honored laborer of Kazakhstan.

The competition will see the world's best wrestlers compete in 10 weight classes.

The official opening ceremony of the competition will take place on May 16 at 17:30 at the Martial Arts Palace named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov.

Dear residents and guests of the capital, we invite everyone to become a fan of our wrestlers defending the honor of the country in a stormy fight!

Let's glorify the name of the hero of our people together!

The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Akimat of Astana and the Wrestling Federation.
