On January 9, the Kazakhstan national judo team began its preparations for the 2025 season. As part of the training camp, the athletes will train in the country’s capital at the Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace. 

Approximately 100 judo experts are participating in the training camp. Among them are Olympic bronze medalist Gusman Kyrgyzbayev, World Championship bronze medalist Abiba Abuzhakynova, Grand Slam tournament winner Magzhan Shamshadin, Nurkanat Serikbayev, Galiya Tynbayeva, as well as the winners and medalists of the 2024 Kazakhstan Championship.
