On December 2 of this year, the opening ceremony of the winter archery Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan among adults and youth was held in Astana at The Martial Arts Palace named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov for the first time in the history of the capital.

More than 300 professional athletes from 12 regions of the country will take part in the tournament. Among them are participants and prize-winners of the Olympic and Asian Games, world and Asian championships.

As part of the championship, 20 sets of medals will be awarded in individual and team competitions.
